ADCOTE MUSIC STAGE

A brilliant enhancement to our 2019 festival vibes, was our brilliant line up on the Adcote School music stage. We had a fabulous selection of local acts, with the best of Shropshire talent to keep your toes tapping.

Our awesome acts featured lots of musical genres including American bluegrass, alternative indie, British folk, rock 'n' roll, funk and soul and high energy dance floor fillers. Whatever you are in to - we've got you covered!

So just like in 2019 be prepared to sit back, get yourself a pint, order some decent street food and enjoy the same at our 2020 festival!

Saturday 29th June

Nakatomi Plaza

A Dynamic two-piece acoustic act who covered indie/alternative tunes with a couple of unexpected classics and other genres thrown in.

Andy O'Brien

Andy treated you to a collection of classics from the likes of Oasis, Coldplay, Stereophonics and The Beatles - guaranteed to have got your toes tapping.

Two Blank Pages

Two Blank Pages are an alt folk band who take their inspiration from American Bluegrass.  They played songs from their EPs and we were lucky enough to get a classic cover from them too.

Asparagus and the Kilburn Habit

Bringing you some old fashioned entertainment to remind you of how things used to be. Fuelled by hearty food and real ale, they brought joy, entertainment and song into your modern lives.

The Vertigo

Priding themselves on performing quality live entertainment and using their state of the art equipment to enhance live shows, Make sure you bring your best singing voices for this one.

Dirty Rockin' Scoundrels

The Dirty Rockin Scoundrels are a Midlands-based function and wedding band that bring the best Rock ‘n’ Roll music of the 50's and 60's. With an entertaining and energetic live show, their set rocked our socks off and got us moving and grooving all afternoon long.

Sunday 30th June

Riverwater

Following the Battle of the Bands at Shropshire Kids Festival. New talent Riverwater are opened the Sunday line up on the Adcote Music Stage.

Reverie Acoustic Duo

Reverie are a Shropshire based acoustic duo comprising of Clemmie (vocals) & Damian (guitar & vocals). Clemmie’s heavy soul influence combined with Damian’s indie background creates unique mash-ups, which breathes new life into old classics. The ‘genre’ is pretty eclectic! They perform unique covers of songs from the 60’s all the way through to current day. From Stevie Wonder to U2, Madonna to Rita Ora, they do it all, taking those classic songs and putting their own twist on them.

Libby Gliksman

Where would we be without Libby. Shrewsbury’s favourite singer will be returning for a fourth year with Adele-esque vocals and summery vibes. Libby has played at all parts of our bill – so last year we decided to give her extra time to play even more songs. Result.

DopeSickFly

The lyrically explosive, musically diverse funk rock hybrid known as DopeSickFly emanated an upbeat feel good vibe, inviting everyone to join in with catchy hooks and to dance their heart out!

Custard Connection

High-energy dance floor fillers, interspersed with slower groovier tracks, and a few heavier rock-outs will be the order of the day when returning heroes The Custard Connection featured on the Adcote Music Stage. Bring it on, custard fellas.
