Field To Fork Area

Follow the journey of our food, from the field to our forks!

This is what the festival is all about! Whether you're learning how to milk a cow, or daring to eat edible insects in the name of sustainability, we want children to be educated about our food sector and celebrate great British produce!

Steve, The Hungry Guy, one of our top chefs will be hosting interactive activities throughout the weekend aimed at getting your little ones engaged and interested in their vegetables. Arty Party will also be hosting Veg Art, as well as tonnes of exciting games!

Rea Valley Tractors will be bringing along some of their epic machinery, plus we'll have a collection of vintage tractors, and there will also be some mini ride-on tractors for the farmers of the future to enjoy!

We'll have our biggest STEM offering to date! Learn about computer-aided product design by making stickers, try out manufacturing a product, and experience mechanical engineering by designing and making a device to move sweets.

Oteley Estate will be bringing along their iconic Highland Cattle and Saddleback piglets, as well as some other farmyard animals, to help your little ones understand where their meat comes from.

Highland Cattle and Saddleback piglets aren't the only animals that will be joining us in our Field To Fork area, we'll also be joined by Knightly Alpacas!

Shropshire Good Food Partnership will be shouting about all things local! They provide support for both businesses and individuals in all aspects of the local food economy and community engagement projects.
