We are excited to announce that Jean-Christophe Novelli has confirmed he will be attending Shrewsbury Food Festival 2023!

Jean-Christophe has been such a big part of the festival over the last two years. He was bowled over by the quality and offering at the event, and is excited to lead talks, demonstrations and cook alongs at this year’s festival.

Jean-Christophe is a multi-Michelin star and 5/5 AA Rosette winning Chef, Author, and Restaurateur. He has worked with renowned restaurants in London, Cape Town, and Normandy, and now has his own cookery school – The Novelli Academy.

In spring 2018 he opened a brasserie restaurant ‘Novelli at City Quays’, within the Marriott AC Hotel in Belfast, and it is going from strength to strength.

Jean-Christophe has developed a worldwide reputation for his cooking artistry and techniques. He’s catered for Heads of State, Royalty, and renowned personalities around the globe.

Joining Jean-Christophe are lots of top local chefs from the region who will take to The Shropshire Distillery Talks and Demonstrations Stage and The Shire Collection’s Chef Cook Along tent.

The line-up includes Stuart Collins, Anna Christoforou, Suki Pantal, Carla Ernst, Ben Hall, Steve - The Hungry Guy, and James Sherwin.

Festival Head Chef, Chris Burt, will be running the Chef Cook Along, fresh from his return to The Peach Tree. Budding chefs can cook along with the pros at their own workstation, and feast on their dish at the end.

There will also be a kids' cookery school which will encourage youngsters to get hands-on and creative in the kitchen. Both cook along areas will ask for a small donation to charity in return for a place.
