Dogs
Your four-legged friends are welcome! Dogs must be kept on a short lead at all times, and they are not allowed under any marquees.
We will have a dog welfare area, sponsored by Different Dog, that you are welcome to use during your visit, this area includes water, paddling pools to cool off in, poobags and a waste bin.
We expect this event to be busy which may be overwhelming for some dogs, so please keep this in mind before bringing them along.
Cash
We recommend bringing cash as well as your bank card, due to the number of visitors at the festival WiFi can sometimes drop in and out.
Food & Drink
We have a whole bunch of incredible vendors onsite, but you are also welcome to bring your own food and drink, but strictly NO alcohol or knives!
Any reusable water bottles will need to be empty on arrival, you can fill up once inside with our Wenlock Water dispenser found near the Cornovii Homes Family Area.
Toilets
We will have toilets all over the Quarry for you to use. There will be blocks close to the bottom, on the hill, and near to the bandstand. We also have baby-changing facilities onsite sponsored by Tiny Swimming.
Reusable Cups
We have our own reusable cups, these are free, and we do ask that you return these at designated return points so we can use them again!
Child Safety
On arrival, you will be given an Aaron & Partners Solicitors wristband that you will need to write your contact number on, should we need to get in touch if you are separated.
We also ask that you take a picture on arrival at the festival in front of one of our child safety banners that can be found next to the entrance area.
Security
The safety of our visitors is our top priority, therefore there will be increased security measures at this year’s event.
All visitors will be searched on arrival to the event. Please be patient if the queue is taking a little longer than normal.
There will be an explosive detection dog team on site across the weekend and during our festival setup, who will be completing searches across the festival site.
Volunteers
We have a number of amazing volunteers that work tirelessly over the weekend, so if you see anyone in a pink t-shirt please give them a HUGE thank you, without them, Shrewsbury Food Festival wouldn't be able to happen!
We are so excited to be seeing you in Shrewsbury Quarry this weekend!
