The West Midlands Tourism Awards crowned Shrewsbury Food Festival the Tourism Event/Festival of the Year 2024!

Businesses across the region attended the awards ceremony at The Bear Grylls Adventure in Solihull, and it was incredible to see so many arts, food & drink, visitor attractions, and heritage sectors honored in the ceremony.

The awards celebrated the hard work and dedication of West Midlands’ visitor attractions and venues to providing excellent visitor experiences.

Shrewsbury Food Festival was one of the many Shropshire-based businesses shortlisted for an award, with a few worthy winners coming from the county!

Words can’t express how grateful we are to have received such recognition for our Food Festival, and we want to say a huge thank you to the team that makes it happen each year; our volunteers, exhibitors, chefs, stage crew, and of course, the members of Team Pink.
