EXHIBITOR TOOLKIT

28th & 29thJune 2025
We're looking forward to welcoming your business to Shrewsbury food festival 2024!

To share in the excitement of our foodie festival, please find our top tips for exhibiting, a link to our digital marketing toolkit, a link to our exhibitor information, and a special offer from one of our sponsors, My WorkWear.

Your Stand

If you’ve booked to be under our marquee you’ll have a 3m x 3m space and a further 3m in front so your customers will be under cover.

You can order tables and chairs through us (there is a charge) or bring your own. We love the branded tablecloths that cover the table right to the ground. They look professional, on brand, and they can also conceal any stock you have under the table.

Behind you, you have a 3 metre gap of white marquee to fill, so why not fill it with a banner? It needs to be 3m long and at least 1m wide, with eyelets so you can secure it. Don’t forget your cable ties to hang it, and please no saggy signs!

Get ready for the rush!

The last weekend of June is usually a HOT one (fingers crossed for this year!) So make sure you have a supply of water, suncream, hats etc. There is a water bottle refill station on site. And despite being surrounded by amazing food, it’s sometimes hard to find the time to stop and pick up something tasty, so keep snacks nearby to keep you going through the busy periods.

MAKE TIME FOR NETWORKING

The Quarry will have a couple of hundred other independent local businesses like yours. During set-up and break down talk to nearby stands and make new connections – you never know where it’ll take you. We love the power of the Shropshire business community!

Freestanding Traders

If you have a street food stand you'll likely be coming branded up already! Many of our street food traders have a big sign on top of their stand so people can locate them from the other side of the park.

If you have a freestanding stall, you'll be bringing your own gazebo. If you're able to get a branded roof, it makes a big difference visually. You'll be more exposed to the weather (sun, rain, or wind) so be prepared and make sure you peg down your gazebo so it doesn't blow away! Again you'll need tables, tablecloths, and signage to explain what you offer.

Don’t forget...

Try and avoid last-minute panics and charge up the device you’ll be using to take card payments and bring a spare if you can, along with float, business cards, stationery, stock and branding.

We provide free wifi for traders to log in to, so get connected during set-up (and please don’t use the wifi for your personal phones and social media or it’ll slow it down for everyone!)

Tips

You’re on a festival site so it’s good to bring things like anti-bac and wipes, but remember there are handwashing stations and toilets designated for exhibitors, so find out where they are when you’re setting up.

One of our exhibitors, MyWorkwear, has been providing branded clothing, uniforms, and PPE to businesses and individuals since 1976. They’re proudly offering fellow exhibitors and sponsors an exclusive 15% discount on branded clothing in preparation for the festival.

Whether you’re looking for aprons, polo shirts, trousers, t-shirts, or promotional items such as caps and tote bags, MyWorkwear can help. They’ve also got plenty of hoodies, gilets, and soft shells to choose from if the great British weather isn’t on our side.
