NEW HOBSONS ALE TRAIL
HOBSONS BREWERY ARE THE OFFICIAL SPONSOR and with 15 beers to try on the trail this promises to be a good way to spend a day (or two!). Enjoying several brewers in several pubs across the town this is a a great way to explore the town while enjoying a tipple or two!

Pubs across Shrewsbury Town Centre are taking part in the first Shrewsbury Ale Trail!
What to do?
Starting on Friday 17th June you will recieve a glass, lanyard and a special tasting card. Make your way to the pubs shown on the card and recieve a taster of the beers featured. You'll then vote for your favourite beer and once you've completed the trail as an added bonus you'll also recieve a bottle of delicious Hobsons Ale.
We have 200 tickets available in advance so BUY NOW - you will need to exchange these limited edition online tickets at The Armoury Pub just by the river for your tasting card, glass and lanyard after the 17th June.
Alternatively you can pop into the Armoury Pub to buy tickets before the festival or from the Hobsons Brewery stand at the Food festival - your choice!
Battlefield Brewery - 1403 4.1% abv
A light dry and crisp ale. Slight malt backbone with a subtle
citrus/apricot note, a grapefruit and slight floral flavour.

Hobsons Brewery- Old Prickly 4.2% abv
A full bodied pale ale with sweet floral character, brewed to
raise awareness for the British Hedgehog Preservation Society.
Salopian Brewery - Shropshire Gold 3.8% abv
Golden, with a floral aroma and a full hoppy flavour that is
balanced by a crisp dry maltiness and a rich finish.
Salopian Brewery - Oracle 4% abv
A crisp, sparklingly sunflower gold ale with a striking hop
profile. Dry and refreshing with a long citrus aromatic finish.
THE OLIVE TREE
Three Tuns - XXX 4.3% abv
A pale-straw-coloured, premium bitter with simple, light malty
sweetness, delicate with light bitterness of floral, earthy character.
Stonehouse Brewery - Sunlander 3.7% abv
Very pale with a balance of citrus and floral hops from
Salopian Brewery - Kashmir 5.5% abv
An elegant strong Salopian version of an IPA, citrus, pines and
tropical fruit engulf the palate and caress the senses.

Powerfully hopped golden ale, aromatic and zesty with a depth
of malt character.

Battlefield Brewery - Citrus Burst 4.2% abv
A fantastic Summery citrus ale, with lemon and lime on the
nose, very crisp and easy drinking with tropical grapefruit
flavours from the hops.
COACH & HORSES
Stonehouse Brewery - Station Bitter 3.9% abv
A traditional, amber coloured bitter. Full bodied, very
drinkable session beer with a perfect balance of fruity hops
and roasted malt.
Hobsons Brewery - Town Crier 4.5% abv
The elegant straw colored bitter has a hint of sweetness which
is complemented by subtle hop flavours leading to a dry finish.
Salopian Brewery - Darwins Origin 4.3% abv
Brewed to celebrate the bicentennial of Charles Darwin’s birth
in Shrewsbury. A copper coloured beer with a pronounced
